I get this question at least five times a month! “What’s an Ipsy bag?” “So what’s this Ipsy thing?” “Hey, wait…what is that Ipsy makeup thing you get?” Well…I am so glad you asked 😉.
NOT a sponsored post
Let me preface this by stating that this is NOT a sponsored post. All opinions are my own. I am sharing my honest opinion about something I pay for and use on my own, and really enjoy. Hence, why I am sharing with you.
What exactly is it?
Ipsy is a monthly subscription of cosmetics, nail care, hair care and/or skincare products. If you’re in the market to try new things and love to try new brands, whether high end or drugstore, then Ipsy is something you’ll definitely want to look into. Each month you’ll receive five items, actually six because it always comes in an adorable makeup bag. You’ll receive items from brands like Smashbox, IT Cosmetics, Ofra, Crown, Elizabeth Mott, The Balm, Tarte, MoroccanOil, Marc Anthony, NYX, the Bombshell…and SO many more! The items are usually large sample sized, however, sometimes you get full-sized items. Those are almost ALWAYS lovely. 💕
So how do you get your own?
You’ll begin by visiting Ipsy.com, or click here on my referral link, to create your own account. As part of your account creation, you will answer some questions about your skin, type and tone, and your preferences for makeup, nail care, hair care items, or skin care. Once you’ve created your account and completed the short survey, you’ll be placed on a waiting list to receive your first Ipsy Glambag. They say this is due to the high demand and as they grow each month, more spots become available. Be patient…it will come.
Enjoy!
When you receive your Glambag, each month you will be able to purchase the full-sized items in your bag from the Ipsy website at a discounted price. You can also earn points toward other products, so be sure to check out your offer, points, and giveaway opportunities in your Ipsy profile.
If you have heard of Ipsy and/or have tried it, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Are you still subscribed to Ipsy? If you aren’t, I would be interested in knowing why you unsubscribed. Comment below.
